Our nation is full of horse lovers, if you have horses or ponies that you train, show, race or enter in competition or just you’re just a horse or pony owner then this is for you.
Dr Ola Ayeni, a veterinarian has come up with a winning idea - animalevent.com an innovative new website to link all us horse lovers together, globally!
The website has many features encompassing everything you need -equine related.
Do you know how many shows, races, meets and societies there are in USA and Canada? Are there any new ones? How can you get in touch? Are there any in your area? How can you get there? Where can you stay? How much will it cost? And are you missing out?
Well with this new website you can get the ‘what, where, when’ and how to get there, you’ll be so informed you need never miss out again and the really good part is that it’s totally free!
Dr Ayeni explained “I used to get so frustrated, I’d have to look up telephone numbers and call each club to get information about their events, then I’d have to get directions, I’d write them down so I couldn’t understand them, get lost and sometimes miss the show. I’d have so much to think about I would never check the weather and because so much of this culture relies on word of mouth I wouldn’t even know if an event was cancelled”.
So he decided to do something positive. “I wanted animalevent.com to be more than just a ‘directory’ so we’ve included some unique features that will be of real benefit to event organizers and equine enthusiasts everywhere”.
So what’s in it for the organizers? Well I‘ve had a sneak preview of the website and here are just some of the features he’s talking about:
All the event publicity listed on the site is free – so even small clubs can get national and international coverage, this elevates them to a different league, reaching millions at no cost. Just think of the savings on printing, postage and admin – time and money. The site also has an exceptionally smart feature whereby it sends automatic email notification to your members and others – keeping them continually up to date, now that’s clever. You can distribute online posters, which can be printed offline by your supporters to post anywhere, again at no cost to the club. The site even has an ‘event expense report’ that you can use for claiming back tax.

There is a calendar that can be added to your website, this gives your organization and its events an independent view enabling you to increase repeat site visits and page view when people click the event schedule at animalevent.com. You can create; edit and build contact lists so you can re-invite last years attendees and hospitality providers. You don’t need to know the dreaded HTML and your calendar can be created for either public or private viewing and again, it’s totally free!
All you need to do for now to be in line for this amazing service is register your interest and you can do this by sending an email to info@animalevent.com
The website is so comprehensive it allows you to connect with other enthusiast’s world-wide, upload photographs of your own ‘champion’ in an electronic photo album, find an emergency veterinarian when you need one, find a qualified groom, handler, or breeder in your area. (No need to heave out the ‘Yellow Pages’ from under that table it’s supporting!) You can ask an expert about horse related problems and animalevent.com have set up an exclusive email service specifically for people who train, show, race or enter their horses or ponies in competitions, i.e. horsename@showmyhorse.com. You can also win a individually tailored luxury hamper for your horse/pony from the famous London store ’Harrods of Knightsbridge’ just for registering, so what are you waiting for?
